Our success at ATA and AICM Awards

Our commitment to quality and outstanding results was recognised by the industry at both the Victorian Auscontact and AICM award ceremonies earlier this year. Recoveriescorp is delighted to be able to enter teams and individuals in various industry award categories.

The Victorian Auscontact Awards

The Victorian Auscontact (formerly ATA Call Centre) Awards was held on Friday 18th July 2014 and we were proud to see recoveriescorp staff excel in two separate award categories.

Our Centrelink Team was named as one of the three finalists for the Call Centre of the Year award. This is the first time recoveriescorp has entered these awards and we were competing against centres who had years of experience in the award process so to achieve a Top 3 finish was a great achievement.

Additionally, Julie McNamara from our Learning & Development Team, was named as one of the 3 finalists for the People Champion award. This is a highly contested award for staff who make an outstanding contribution to the overall success of an organisation.  Julie was a worthy inaugural nominee from recoveriescorp and represented our company exceedingly well through the judging process.

AICM’s Young Credit Professional of the Year Awards

Representatives from recoveriescorp attended the AICM’s Young Credit Professional of the Year Gala Dinner for the announcement of the Victorian representative. The Young Credit Professional award recognises young people for their contributions to the credit industry. Each year, recoveriescorp recognises suitable nominees and supports them on this journey.

This year, Amaran Navaratnam, a Portfolio Manager from our Banking Team, and Daniel Greenhoff, a Team Support Officer from our Commercial and Utilities Team, were recognised by recoveriescorp for their outstanding contribution in their respective roles. The pair have been acknowledged on a number of occasions as either nominees or winners of our prestigious company awards.

Both Daniel and Amaran attended the awards ceremony where they were amongst 9 finalists for the AICM’s Young Credit Professional of the Year award for the Victorian division. Daniel was successful as a finalist and Amaran was recognized with the Tony Mammone award.
